Katerina Mourouzi-Markou is honest, and passionate about her work. A deep and clear thinker is sending a message to anyone who can transmit on the same wavelength; we trust her position and opinion.
“I am worried about what will be the effect of the rapid changes to future generations, and what will become of humanity, what will become of this planet! What can I say!
I will neither complain nor will I express the frustration I feel with anything irrelevant and dysfunctional that is going on in the city that I live in. My city Halkida, that I adore…and not only….. What can I say!
I will only keep those momentary “flashings” like the hidden beauties of nature, beauties of unique situations, beauties of relationships between people and their feelings!
Through all this, I assure you, there is always a “flashing” that worth the world…!
So this is what I am trying to evolve through my work, using my imagination and giving a new form to my fellow man created, molded, painted with love.
The strings are sensitive. Like the sensitive strings of some talented people. In reality I have the need to see this “glow” and turn it into a picture! I feel the need to “close” all this in a ”timeless box” (in this case into a painting). I feel the need to depict and maintain the eternal movement of the universe into a miniature like site on a canvas painting.
”I wish I communicated the same “language” with the whole world.
A secret language that exists where we cannot imagine!
But would this be enough?”
